In April my good friend Steven Aston and I were really into a videogame called Minecraft. A new feature had been released that allowed users to enter a 'seed' to generate a new world. It was difficult to find a good seed, so when we found one naturally we wanted to share it.
We spent the next twenty-four hours developing a website that would allow users to sign up and share seeds that they've found with screenshots and even linked Youtube videos. The website has received some notice from the Minecraft community, getting approximately 10K hits/month and growing. It currently has just over three hundred registered users and continues to grow.
